Kylie Jenner is officially the highest-earning celebrity of the year

It’s official! Kylie Jenner has been named the highest-earning celebrity of 2020, reports Entertainment Tonight.

With this whirlwind year coming to a close, Forbes has officially named the reality-star-turned-makeup-mogul the highest-earning celebrity of 2020, sitting pretty at the top with a whopping $590 million this year.

According to Forbes, a significant chunk of the 23-year-old star’s earnings came from selling 51% of Kylie Cosmetics to Coty, the multinational beauty company which has been around since 1904. Not a bad investment on Kylie’s part, to say the least.

As noted by Entertainment Tonight, that wasn’t Kylie Jenner’s only accomplishment noted on the 2020 list. What was the other one, you might ask? Well, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was the only woman to make the Top 10 in celebrity earners, which is a pretty big deal in itself!

Keeping it all in the family, someone close to Kylie came in at number two–brother-in-law Kanye West, who earned $170 million this year. King Ky’s big sister Kim Kardashian made the list at number 48, with $49.5 million earned in 2020. Her on-again, off-again beau, Travis Scott, also made the list, ranking at number 82. The rapper earned $39.5 million this year.

While Kylie’s earnings are notably much higher than her baby daddy’s, Travis Scott’s payday in 2020 was certainly not chump change by any means.

While the mom-of-one certainly hasn’t had the best relationship with Forbes this year, even going as far as to call them out on Twitter, their latest list surely gives credit where credit is due for Kylie. In case you forgot, the magazine alleged that Kylie was lying about how much money she had, and the lip kit queen clapped back.
