Where Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly stand as divorce rumors continue

New updates have emerged about the status of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s relationship. Fans can rest easy because, yes, they’re still together. However, that doesn’t mean things are picture perfect over in the Kardashian-West house.

According to one source who spoke with People, the pair are reportedly living “separate” lives at this point.

“Kim has work and projects that are important to her, and Kanye has his,” the insider told People. “Their lives don’t overlap much.” That being said, the report wasn’t entirely a negative one. The source was sure to say Kim seems happy, and is very focused on her work right now.

It’s been a tumultuous year for Kim and Kanye, who have faced a number of public spectacles. For starters, West unleashed a string of bizarre and concerning tweets over the summer, prompting conversations about his mental health. Kim later addressed Kanye’s bipolar disorder diagnosis in a lengthy Instagram post where she asked fans for “compassion.”

Kanye also ran for President in the 2020 election, and although he didn’t win (and didn’t even come close) the added publicity likely didn’t help his strained relationship.

Still, Kim Kardashian is doing great, the source insists, adding that her prison reform efforts are taking up most of her time. She “strongly believes she can make a change” when it comes to prison reform, the source said, noting that her family is very proud of her advocacy work.

For months, rumors have swirled claiming Kanye and Kim are on the brink of divorce, but as they continue to work on themselves as individuals, perhaps a trying year has only brought them closer.
