Meghan Markle might have a fiction novel in the works
It looks like Meghan Markle may soon be able to add “novelist” to her resume. According to a royal source over at the Daily Mail, the Duchess is contemplating writing a book, and no, it won’t be an autobiographical account of her life. Meghan is actually more interested in trying her hand at fiction, the site reports.
According to the Daily Mail, writing a fiction book is something Meghan Markle has “always” been keen on. “She could be assured that anything she writes would sell well, regardless of its quality,” the royal source said. “Fiction, be it children’s books or adult, would be a powerful way of conveying the messages of their woke brand.”
The site was also sure to note Meghan would hardly be the first royal to release a book. Prince Charles published a children’s book titled The Old Man of Lochnagar back in 1980.
It’s also important to note that a book release wouldn’t be Meghan Markle’s first foray into writing. She was previously the creator of a popular blog called The Tig which she shut down in 2017, not long after she began dating Harry. Fans of The Tig know Meghan has a way with words, and she was known for penning stories about travel, fashion, food, and more.
It’s impressive Meghan is still adding new projects to her plate for 2021 seeing as she’s already announced a plethora of new endeavors. She and Harry landed a production deal with Netflix this year, and also announced their involvement in an upcoming Spotify podcast.
With all this excitement and their step back from the royal family, the sky is the limit for Meghan Markle and her hubby in the years ahead.
