Meghan Markle never understood why Kate Middleton was so uptight

When it comes to Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, it seems safe to say the pair have never exactly been the closest of confidants. From the moment, Meghan entered the royal family’s orbit the have been rumors about Kate never quite taking Meghan under her wings with the pair never quite clicking.
The rumors only seemed to further intensify after Meghan and Harry chose to set away from the royal family. With Meghan and Harry’s departure came a wave of speculation and reports about tensions between Kate and her husband Prince William.
From stories of how Kate and William tried to warn Harry about diving into his relationship with Meghan to fast to rumors of Kate’s furor over Meghan abandoning her royal responsibilities, it’s become clear that Meghan and Kate aren’t exactly on the best of terms and seem to have never gotten off on the right foot.
Now, in a new report, it is said that Meghan struggled to understand why Kate.
Meghan Markle felt no warmth from Kate Middleton and royals
As a royal insider revealed in a new interview with The Express discussing the odds of Meghan and Harry returning to the UK as acting members of the royal family, it was alleged that Meghan has no desire to return due in large part to the lack of warmth felt from royals.
According to the insider, Meghan “wants to raise Archie in a household that is filled with laughter and joy and lots of hugs,” which is an environment she simply didn’t find within the royal family.

As the insider alleges, “it’s still weird to [Meghan] that no one hugs and that everyone is so uptight, especially Kate.” The lack of warmth within the royal family is something that always puzzled Meghan, especially when it came to Kate, and could explain a lot about why the two never quite clicked.
