Meghan Markle disappointed by Kate Middleton’s lack of support

When it comes to relationships within the Royal Family, few are quite as complicated as the relationship between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.
From the moment, Meghan first entered the family’s orbit through her relationship with Prince Harry eagled-eye royal watchers have been dissecting the relationship between the two women, or lack thereof it would seem.
Even before Meghan and Prince Harry decided to step away from their roles as acting members of the Royal Family, rumors circulated as to whether Kate and Meghan were at odds and those rumors only seemed to escalate following Megixt.
The unfortunate truth, though, is that things between Meghan and Kate could have been entirely different if only Kate had offered to reach out with a helping hand during those early days.
Meghan Markle stunned by lack of support from Kate Middleton
In the new documentary Meghan & Harry: The New Revelations, UK broadcaster Channel 5 explores the upcoming unauthorized biography Finding Freedom with a particular focus on reports Meghan was disappointed by the overall lack of support she received from Kate.
As the documentary’s narrator Jennifer Saayeng revealed, via The Express, “The book details that Meghan had initially hoped that Kate would potentially reach out to her. She hoped the Duchess would help guide her as somebody who married into the institution.”

Unfortunately, for Meghan, it’s reported that Kate simply was too busy to dedicate time to helping her to acclimate to royal life and instead never really saw anything in common with her.
Meghan apparently took this quite personally, which likely would explain the rumored rift between the two.
