Kim Kardashian has officially filed for divorce from Kanye West – Report

After months of speculations and rumors regarding the future of their marriage, Kim Kardashian has finally filed to divorce Kanye West.
As first reported by TMZ, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star pulled the trigger and filed for divorce from Kanye on Feb. 19, 2021, nearly two months after reports first broke suggesting the couple were in the final stages of bringing their marriage to an end.
While Kim and Kanye’s relationship is said to have soured in recent months, sources suggest the decision was an amicable one with both parties in agreement that it was ultimately the best move for both parties.

Kim and Kanye first began seeing one another in spring 2012 before walking down the aisle in May 2014. The pair are parents to four children: North West (7), Saint West (5), Chicago West (2), and Psalm West (20 months).
It is reported by E! Online it was due to the well-being of their four children that Kim held off on submitting the documents for as long as she did. Understandably, Kim is rumored to have not made the decision lightly in wanting to make sure it was ultimately the best move for their family.
