Someone tell Kourtney Kardashian that diet culture is out. The reality star is receiving criticism from fans after her latest Instagram post promoted anti-cellulite foods.
Kourt shared a photo on her Instagram story which featured a slew of snacks including honey, strawberries, and cheese and the caption, “5 foods not to eat to prevent cellulite.” Unfortunately, Kourt seemed to miss the mark with fans.
After seeing her post, many were disappointed with the reality star for promoting diet culture. “This obviously isn’t like the ‘worst’ thing she’s said or done but I’m just soo sick of diet culture and trying to make cellulite seem like a bad thing, it’s tiring,” one fan said on Reddit.
Kourtney’s post included a link to a post on her lifestyle site, Poosh, and fans were quick to slam the blog for not keeping up with changing trends in body positivity.
“Poosh is a decade too late. People don’t go for these types of articles as much as they used to, the whole site is sh***y recycled articles about diets and bad relationship advice,” another said.
Kourt may have ventured down the wrong path with her diet post, but usually, she’s quite the health and fitness queen. On Feb. 17, she took to Instagram with a post sharing another set of trips and tricks she practices. The mom of three said she swears by daily matcha intake.
Kourtney has also previously shared some of her favorite health foods. As Elle reports, she’s keen on including avocado and wholegrain porridge in her diet.
The Kardashians all undoubtedly eat healthy to maintain their flawless physiques, but if they want to avoid the wrath of the internet, they’re going to have to ease up on diet culture!
