Kim Kardashian expected to take California home in Kanye West divorce
By Cody Schultz
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will soon go their separate ways, as the couple works to finalize their divorce and the many fine details that come with the process.
Unlike some Hollywood marriages which end in a bit more turmoil, Kim and Kanye are said to be parting on good terms and simply are going their separate ways after careful consideration. In fact, there have even been reports suggesting Kim still loves Kanye and simply walked away from the marriage after growing apart from one another.
The pair are also said to have already come up with a plan for co-parenting together with joint legal and physical custody of their four children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. As rumor has it, Kim’s top priority throughout the entire process has been her children and the desire to provide as much stability for their little ones as possible.
Will Kim Kardashian get to keep her and Kanye’s California home?
Understandably, one of Kim Kardashian’s key goals in maintaining stability for her children is said to come from keeping residency in the family’s current Hidden Hills home in California. The sprawling California mansion is where Kim and Kayne have been raising their family, making it the only home their four kids know.

It’s for this season, Kim is seeking to keep her and Kanye’s Hidden Hills home in the divorce, which is something Kanye is apparently on board with. As TMZ reports, Kim and the kids have remained in the home since her split from Kanye and although Kanye designed the home, it is expected he will allow Kim to take the house in the divorce.
Where is Kanye living after his divorce from Kim Kardashian?
With Kim said to be taking the family’s California home in the divorce, TMZ suggests Kanye West might choose to take up a permanent resident in Wyoming. Considering how much time Kanye has been spending at his Wyoming ranch, it would make sense for Kanye to make the home his primary residence following his split from Kim.
What should be interesting to see is whether perhaps purchases a secondary residence in California to be closer to his family or if Kim and the kids will be commuting back and forth between the two states.
Do you think it’s fair for Kim Kardashian to take the family’s California home where she’s currently living with their four kids? Any theories on whether Kanye might put down new roots in California or keep to his Wyoming home instead?
