Chrissy Teigen just spilled major tea on Kim Kardashian’s split from Kanye West

Chrissy Teigen loves cooking, so she definitely knows how to spill some tea.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were officially divorcing and the news came as a shock to everyone. The divorce quickly became public knowledge, but not much was really known on how the pair fared before the announcement, and the only people who seemed to know the details were family members like Kris Jenner and a few close friends.

Family friend Chrissy Teigen was right by Kardashian‘s side through it all, and she’s now letting us know what really went down from Kim Kardashian’s perspective.

Chrissy Teigen talks about Kim Kardashian’s split from Kanye West

In a recent sit down on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, as reported by People, Teigen is asked if her husband, John Legend, is still in contact with Kanye West with all the news surrounding the divorce.

Teigen states in the interview that her husband doesn’t talk to West as much as she talks to Kim Kardashian, especially since the American rapper is known to fly off the radar which makes it difficult to contact him.

She also states that when it came to the divorce, the SKIMS founder “gave her all” to fight for the marriage to avoid such a sad fate, but as we know, it just didn’t work out. She explains:

"Kim is doing okay. I know Kim gave her all for everything. It’s honestly a shame that it didn’t work out because I saw them being a forever relationship. I really did, but I know she tried her best."

Just as Chrissy Teigen said, everyone thought that the pair were going to last forever and while the divorce is sad news, it is good to hear Kim and Kanye are still respective of one another throughout the divorce. Both parties are reportedly being extremely amicable and are currently in the process of figuring out joint custody of their four kids.

Fans fully believe that Kim tried her best and we’re glad to see that even during such trying times, the exes are doing the best they can.
