Kate Middleton kills it with kids! Duchess gives sweetest response to little boy who asked: ‘Are you a Prince?’
Kate Middleton, 39, – more formally known as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge – was put right on the spot by an adorable young boy recently, while on the Duke and Duchess’s royal tour of Scotland, when he demanded to know if she was a “Prince”.
On Tuesday, May 25, Kate who was visiting Orkney, Scotland with her dashing Prince Charming, William, stopped to talk with a group of young school children who were eagerly waiting outside, the European Marine Energy Centre, for the arrival of the royal duo.
Pointing at the mom-of-three – Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three – an adorable little boy, mustered up the courage to ask the Duchess, and future Queen of England: “Are you a Prince?”
Shaking her head, she smiled and sweetly replied to the young boy: “I’m not a Prince. I’m the Duchess of Cambridge. Lots of people call me Catherine.”
And when another excited little girl proclaimed that Kate’s a “Princess”, the Duchess of Cambridge turned her attention towards her and asked the beaming 5-year-old if she was the one who was actually a Princess, and when she shyly shook her head no, Kate announced:
"“Aww well, you look like [a Princess] in your beautiful pink coat.”"

But this isn’t the only adorable moment of Kate with kids from the Duke and Duchess’s royal tour of Scotland.
On Thursday, May 27, the Duchess of Cambridge invited little 5-year-old Mila Sneddon – who featured in a picture from Kate’s lockdown photography project, Hold Still, and suffers from leukaemia – to the Queen’s official Edinburgh home for a face to face meeting.
The Duchess immediately put a smile on young Mila’s face when she walked into the room wearing a stunning and vivid pink ME&EM dress, that perfectly complimented the dress that the five-year-old had donned for the occasion – having chosen to wear a pink frock after the youngster had confessed it was her favourite colour.
Mila featured in a powerful picture from Kate’s quarantine photography project, Hold Still, where she was pictured kissing her kitchen window while her father – who had to be separated from the young tot due to coronavirus restrictions – stood outside.
