Jamie Lynn Spears has exerted new measures on her Instagram, this in the wake of claiming she and her daughters have been receiving death threats. The 30-year-old Netflix star and sister to “Toxic” singer Britney Spears made headlines at the start of the week for revealing that backing her famous sibling has resulted in backlash on her end. Posting for her 2.1 million followers, the Sweet Magnolias actress wrote:

"“Hi, I respect that everyone has the right to express themselves, but can we please stop with the death threats, especially the death threats to children.”"

Jamie Lynn Spears gets hate after backing Britney

It all kicked off after Jamie Lynn finally broke her silence on Britney’s 2008-commenced conservatorship. The Nickelodeon alum waited until Britney had addressed a court judge, something the Grammy winner made headlines for as she spoke for 24 minutes and called her conservatorship “abusive,” also saying she’s been left “traumatized.”

Shortly after Britney’s appeal, JLS tearfully took to her stories to support Britney, saying:  “Since the day I was born, I’ve only loved, adored, and supported my sister. I mean this is my freaking big sister, before any of this bulls**t.”

Jamie Lynn, then shutting down suggestions Britney’s been feeding her cash, aggressively stated she’s been paying her “freaking” bills since she was 10 years old – since then, The New York Times has reported Jamie Lynn to be the only family member not on Britney’s payroll.

Jamie Lynn, whose 12-year-old daughter Maddie and three-year-old Ivey regularly feature on her Instagram, has now disabled comments. The family snaps continue, but they now come with a further measure. Jamie Lynn’s most recent post blurred out the faces of her children as she used flag emoji to make her girls anonymous.

The blonde had continued: “Maybe I didn’t support the way the public would like me to with a hashtag on a public platform but I can assure you that I support my sister long before there was a hashtag and I’ll support her long after.”

Meanwhile, Britney, who jetted out to Hawaii for a vacation after her June court address, has been making headlines for upbeat updates, bikini action and her latest nudie bath photo, shared just yesterday. The pop princess quickly had fans wondering if it was really here, though, as they alleged her tattoos to be missing.
