Kanye West ‘helped’ Kim Kardashian with new KKW Beauty name

Kim Kardashian might have gotten unfollowed on Twitter by her estranged husband Kanye West, but the 40-year-old makeup mogul is said to have actually gotten help with the recent rebranding of her KKW Beauty line.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star made headlines this week for announcing her best-selling brand will be temporarily shutting down. While fans are convinced Kim will be dropping the “W” amid her divorce, sources are stating it’s anything but.

Kim, who filed for divorce from 44-year-old West in February 2021, announced that a “completely new brand” is on the way via a KKW Beauty Instagram post. Shoppers were promised “new formulas that are more modern, innovative and packaged with an elevated and sustainable new look” – while the queen bee of reality television made no mention of a new name, Page Six is now reporting that fans can expect one, also that Kanye played a role in its development.

“Fun little fact, Kanye helped come up with the new name,” they stated.

The news, which comes as 23-year-old sister Kylie Jenner revamps her Kylie Cosmetics line to be vegan-friendly, comes amid wider headlines Kim continues to make in the wake of ending her third marriage.

The mom-of-four has been gallivanting around Italy with eye-catching Instagram updates documenting her spaghetti-slurping and poses at Rome’s Spanish Steps, with fans now very much speculating the star may have a Fendi collab – Kim hit up the luxury label’s headquarters twice in one day.

KKW Beauty, which launched in 2017, has kept fans updated via its Instagram.

“Kissing #KKWBEAUTY goodbye until we come back with a new look & new formulas,” the brand wrote just yesterday as a photo of Kim pouting and holding a flower continued to promote the makeup range.

Kim remains tight-lipped on the June rumors sparked by “Ye” rapper Kanye being spotted with model Irina Shayk in France, although sources close to her state she’s totally okay with her ex getting back in the dating game.

Kim and Kanye are parents to kids North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Their 2014 marriage was Kim’s third, with the finale of KUWKT seeing the star call herself a “failure” on account of her now-crumbled marriage.
