It looks like the Kardashian sisters have gotten even richer as their legal battle regarding their old cosmetics brand, Kardashian Beauty, has finally come to a settlement.

The Hollywood Reporter tells us that this battle dates back to 2016 and began when the Keeping Up with the Kardashians sisters made a licensing agreement with Boldface Licensing + Branding, but was then left with the short end of the stick once the company found itself in financial hot water. Soon after, Boldface sold its assets to another brand, Hillair, and allowed another company, Haven Beauty, to hold these assets, which included the celebrities’ trademarks, images, and such.

Ultimately, the round-aboutness between these two companies did not sit well with Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, especially after they were essentially duped out of their promised royalties which were contingent upon the original arrangement with Boldface. Thankfully, what was lost was soon restored to the celebrities following their bountiful settlement.

The Kardashians win millions in legal battle against Haven Beauty and Hillair Capital

The sisters received a total of $11.5 million at the end of the battle and received an additional $2 million in interest much to Haven Beauty and Hillair’s disappointment. The Kardashians’ attorney, Michael Kump, had this to say following such a huge victory:

"Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney are thrilled with this important victory in the California Court of Appeal. […]  In order to get what they were promised, they have been forced to litigate in state and federal court, and in JAMS arbitration – winning at every stage. They deserve to be paid what they are owed."

Though they may have won this particular case, one of the three sisters is still currently in the midst of another case where debts are owed.

Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian came under fire by her former employees, who worked as the celebrity’s gardeners, after they accused both her and her ex-husband, Kanye West, of subjecting them to unfair work conditions and claimed that the pair underpaid them severely. In addition to these claims, there was, allegedly, also an instance where a minor working more than the maximum hours required by state law.

The Kardashian claimed that the accusations were untrue being that her former gardeners were supposed to be paid by their personal bosses, but we’ll have to wait to see if Kim Kardashian will, once again, be victorious or if she, too, will have to pay what she owes.
