Kelly Ripa shares intimate bed shot with ‘chic’ surprise
Kelly Ripa is celebrating summer from her jaw-dropping home bedroom and adding a little unexpected twist. The 50-year-old talk show host, this week clapping back at her “weirdo” fans after they alleged she only has one foot, was today putting the drama behind her as she updated with a quick story, one shared with the blonde’s 2.9 million Instagram followers.
Kelly, whose $27 million NYC townhouse is shared with husband Mark Consuelos and the couple’s two pooches, had dedicated her post to dogs Lena and Chewie, with the photo showing her in selfie mode and on her bed. Kelly was joined by her pets as they got their “Chic Cuts” shown off.
Writing “THE LADIES GOT CHIC CUTS,” the Live! With Kelly and Ryan host smiled for the camera as she showed off a low-key finish. The snap likely did it for fans who are always happy to see her and definitely don’t mind snooping around her luxurious and stylish home.

The snap, seeing the former sitcom star chilling on her front, peeped fine wallpapers and her muted accent bedroom, also seeing her plonked on her white bed linens and joined by Chewie and pandemic-adopted Lena. The dogs were, indeed, looking pretty scrubbed-up, with Kelly out to feature their hairdos over her own.
“SUMMER” also appeared in text in multicolor and wavey writing. The post directly follows another humorous one from Ripa, this time seeing her claim a photo that includes her beats one featuring 1996-married husband Mark.
“The photo battle between us continued on our trip tom #alberobello i think there’s a clear winner,” she wrote as the first photo showed Mark and the couple’s sons – a swipe to the right showed 24-year-old Michael and 18-year-old Joaquin with their mom, though. Both photos dated to Kelly’s recent family vacation to Italy, where a delayed celebration honored Michael’s 2020 college graduation.
Kelly has long been known for housing Chewie, but Lena was an unexpected addition to the Ripa/Consuelos household in 2020.
“My whole fear was that I didn’t want Chewie to feel replaced in any way,” Kelly told viewers as she admitted being unsure how her existing dog would react.
The mom-of-three was quick to spot a bond between the two dogs, though, adding: “Chewie was outside the [Lena’s] crate, sitting next to her with their noses together.”
