Tristan Thompson reportedly traded to the Sacramento Kings: What will this mean for his relationship with Khloe Kardashian?

According to the Bleacher Report, NBA athlete Tristan Thompson was recently traded to the Sacramento Kings, ending his journey with his former team, the Boston Celtics. As the sport requires, Thompson is to relocate from Boston, Massachusetts to Sacramento, California—a move that may heavily affect many aspects of Thompson’s life such as his lifestyle, his social life, and, most notably, his relationship with Khloe Kardashian.

Fans have been wondering what this relocation could mean for Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson now that the NBA athlete is actually moving much closer to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. Will the pair rekindle their burned romance or will this move to Sacramento drive these two further apart? We speculate below.

It’s highly possible that Thompson’s recent trade to the Kings would mean a repaired relationship between him and the mother of his daughter, True Thompson. Even though Khloe Kardashian broke up with Tristan Thomspon reportedly because of his many cheating allegations, we know that the Good American co-founder is still slightly hesitant about closing that chapter of her life for good and is actually willing to take the basketball player back should he change his behavior.

And, as it turns out, Khloe Kardashian isn’t the only one open to a round three.

In June, Thompson publically declared his love for Kardashian on his Instagram, which let the world know that he still had plenty of love for his ex-girlfriend.

While it seems to us that the two are open to getting back together again, there is still a likely possibility that the broken-up couple would refuse to date again despite being much closer together in location. This possibility is due to the fact that, coincidentally, Thompson’s most recent alleged cheating scandal happened at a party in California, leading many to think that a new location may not exactly mean a new Tristan Thompson.

While fans want to hope for the best, there is still the lingering thought that Thompson would only make the same mistakes he made in Los Angeles, but this time, in Sacramento. Of course, we, too, want to hope for the best for Kardashian and Thompson’s relationship, but we’ll have to wait and see how these drastic new changes play out for these celebs.
