Was Caitlyn Jenner left out of the loop on Kylie Jenner’s second pregnancy?

Caitlyn Jenner, 77, broke the news on Thursday that she’s expecting her 19th grandkid which spurred rumors that Kylie Jenner was pregnant with her second child. Of course, it turned out that the former Olympian was, in fact, talking about his son, Burt Jenner, who is expecting his third child with girlfriend Valerie Pitalo, so was Caitlyn out of the loop on Kylie’s pregnancy news when it broke on Friday? Or was she just simply playing coy?

On Thursday, Caitlyn Jenner visited The Toy Store in Quincy, California, on her campaign trail – to replace the current Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, in a special election next month – where the 77-year-old former “I Am Cait”  star declared that she wants “30 grandchildren” in total, as it’s “a round number,” before making the announcement that she’s nearly there with her 19th grandkid on the way.

“Eighteen grandchildren. I keep telling the girls — they’re not too excited about this, but — I wanna go for 30,” Caitlyn said at the time.

"“Thirty grandchildren. It’s a round number. I just found out the other day that I have another one in the oven. Yes, I found that out the other day. So that’s 19, so we only got 10 to go.”"

Of course, her words quickly swirled rumors that her youngest daughter Kylie Jenner – who only recently reignited her romance with rapper Travis Scott – is the one that’s expecting, but it was later confirmed by PageSix, after a source told them, that Caitlyn Jenner was in fact referencing her son, Burt, not Kylie when she let it slip that she was going to soon have 19 grandkids. So it begs the question, was Caitlyn left out of the loop? Or was she just keeping her daughters privacy? Let’s see what an expert thinks …

Did Caitlyn Jenner know Kylie Jenner was pregnant?

Celebrity journalist and commentator, Holly Smith told KardashianDish exclusively, “I doubt that Caitlyn didn’t know that Kylie Jenner was pregnant. Although I do think that she might have unintentionally made Kylie’s news public.”

The expert explained, “In the video, you can see that once Caitlyn blurts out that she will have a 19th grandkid soon, she starts to choose her words carefully. I think she knew that both Burt and Kylie were growing their family but perhaps had been explicitly told not to mention it.”

According to the expert, Caitlyn was trying to “protect her daughter’s secret” but it was her counting that let her down.

"“Although Caitlyn was careful to only mention the 19th grandkid, she also accidentally let it slip that there are only 10 more grandkids left until 30 in total, and yes she could have just misspoken but I think she might have unconsciously revealed the truth.”"
