Kim Kardashian’s ‘trust issues’ with Kanye West reportedly part of the reason they’re divorcing

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West appear to be the closest they’ve been since splitting earlier this year, however with the release of the rapper’s new album Donda, all eyes are on the pair and these infidelity rumors. In case you missed it, one track called “Hurricane” basically says ‘Ye was unfaithful to Kim during their marriage — but how much of that is really true? Is Kanye making things up for the sake of artistic expression or did he really cheat on the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star?

As we previously reported, Page Six claims Kanye was, in fact, unfaithful while married to Kim, and now People Magazine is getting into Kim’s “trust issues.” An insider tells the publication that the mom-of-four was not surprised to hear the lyrics on Kanye’s album, and the rapper has actually apologized for things he did during their marriage. But it looks like any regrets from Kanye are too little too late, as the source also says Kim’s lack of trust is part of the reason the two called it quits in the first place.

“Kim has had some trust issues. This is partly why their marriage didn’t work out,” the source tells People Magazine. Of course, this doesn’t explicitly confirm that Kanye cheated on Kim, but all signs point to it being true. Now, fans are scrambling to figure out who the designer could’ve been unfaithful with, with many wondering if it could’ve been Irina Shayk.

Kanye and Irina were linked earlier this year, though reports have claimed that they’ve already split because of distance. StyleCaster reports, however, that Irina was not the person Kanye cheated with, and that does make sense considering the supermodel was previously in a committed relationship with Bradley Cooper. We might not ever find out who this alleged other woman was, but that won’t stop fans from putting on their detective hats and theorizing.

It’s unfortunate that Kim had trust issues during their marriage, and we honestly would never expect Kanye to cheat. We’ll be curious to see if the rapper ever addresses these rumors, perhaps in another Twitter rant or in a song.
