Travis Barker’s ex Shanna Moakler seemingly responds to Kourtney Kardashian engagement

We’re still reeling in our happiness over the fact that Travis Barker is now officially off the market as he popped the question to his boo Kourtney Kardashian on Sunday. However, though this should be an occasion where everyone is rejoicing, there seems to be at least one person who may not feel too joyous about the good news.

Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Barker, has vocally expressed her disdain for her ex-husband’s relationship with Kardashian. Earlier this year, Moakler stated that she thought the couple’s incessant public displays of affections were “weird” and believed that they should dial it back a bit.

In the same year, Moakler also mentioned how Barker previously had his sights set on Kim Kardashian, alluding to the idea that the musician was an opportunist trying to date any and all of the Kardashian sisters.

With Moakler’s past opinions widely known, fans predicted that the TV personality would, once again, voice how she feels about Barker and Kardashian now that they are a newly engaged couple. It seems that fans’ predictions were on the nose as Moakler seems to have stepped forward.

People Magazine reports that Moakler took to her Instagram to post a cryptic message following her ex-husband’s huge announcement. The post read, “temporarily closed for spiritual maintenance,” which lets us know that she is likely not taking the news all that well.

In addition to the first message, it seems that Moakler then took a dig at the couple as she posted a Tupac Shakur quote that read, “Before you ask why someone hates you, ask yourself why you give a f***k.”

As we know, Barker and Moakler’s marriage of four years ended rather tumultuously with the two seemingly butting heads at every corner. Not to mention the fact that, after their separation, Moakler allegedly got violent with Barker’s rumored then-girlfriend Paris Hilton in 2006, and, a year later, had a heated exchange with actress Lindsay Lohan for the same reasons.

Given her history, it’s possible that Moakler is now choosing spiritual maintenance so as to not fly off the handle once more but, this time, with Kourtney Kardashian.
