Kanye West wants to get back with Kim Kardashian, denies they’re getting divorced

We’re inching closer to a year since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West, as the news was officially confirmed in February 2021. Though both stars have remained relatively tight-lipped on the split, with Kim only discussing it briefly during Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the rapper is now speaking out and is seemingly not happy about what’s gone down.

In fact, Kanye claims that the pair aren’t getting divorced, as he’s allegedly never seen the divorce papers. As reported by E! News, the 44-year-old billionaire recently did an interview on the Drink Champs podcast, where he opened up on a variety of spicy topics.

From his feud with Drake to his involvement with controversial figures Marilyn Manson and DaBaby, Kanye didn’t hold back his true feelings and per usual, said a few questionable things. When on the topic of Kim Kardashian, however, things got even more interesting.

Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorcing?

Though Kim and Kanye separated earlier this year, Kanye still referred to the mother of his four children as his “wife.” Technically speaking, because their divorce is not finalized, they are still husband and wife. However, Kanye made it clear that he still sees the pair romantically together.

Kanye even called out Kim’s hosting job on Saturday Night Live in October of this year, claiming:

"“SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ because they just wanted to get that bar off. And I ain’t never even seen the papers, we’re not even divorced.”"

He added elsewhere in the podcast:  “That ain’t no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together.”

Of course, this bombshell interview comes amid rumors that Kim is dating SNL star Pete Davidson. The two have been seen out together numerous times in the past two weeks, with Kim even visiting the comedian in his hometown of Staten Island, New York.

Neither Kim nor Pete have responded to the rumors publicly, but it actually does seem like a romance is brewing between them. For Kanye’s part, he was romantically linked to model Irina Shayk earlier this year, though they reportedly went their separate ways not too long after.

Kanye is known for his head-scratching moments and confusing rants, and this podcast interview is no exception. To our knowledge, Kim and Kanye are still divorcing. Apparently, though, one of them doesn’t believe that.
