The aftermath of the Astroworld tragedy is still, understandably, in the news, and notable publications are doing everything in their power to avoid promoting Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner in order to respect the lives lost at the festival.

This preemptive measure is currently being done by W Magazine, according to Page Six.

Reportedly, W Magazine is in the process of pulling all recent coverage relating to Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, including a photoshoot and interview, from publication.

This alleged removal is being done in hindsight as the esteemed magazine company conducted the coverage prior to the Astroworld tragedy and, initially, had it slated to release sometime soon after the event. However, as we know, recent events have called for the magazine to do otherwise.

A source informed the media outlet:

"W editors have cleared any planned coverage of Travis and Kylie from their website, but the magazine was already printed, and now they are trying to stop the delivery trucks. […] In the light of what happened at Astroworld, the interview and cover lines seem inappropriate, to say the least."

At this time, it is not yet known if W Magazine made the last-minute call on time or if Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott‘s interview will still be released despite their relentless efforts. Also unknown is whether or not the magazine will proceed to release this coverage at a later time.

As it stands now, W Magazine is reportedly removing themselves from the narrative, and it’s safe to assume other publications and companies will soon follow. Which ones exactly? Only time will tell. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on this story.
