Larsa Pippen opens up on what really happened between her and the Kardashians

In case you didn’t know, The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen and the Kardashians aren’t on the best terms despite Pippen once being a close and trusted friend of the family.

The fallout happened sometime in summer 2020 when the Kardashian sisters, including Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, unfollowed Pippen on Instagram. With this united front, fans assumed something really bad went down between the women but didn’t exactly know what. Theories about what may have transpired began flying around, many of which assumed Larsa Pippen had something to do with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce.

Though Pippen has briefly spoken out about her former friendship with the family, she’s now getting more honest than ever before.

Why Larsa Pippen and the Kardashians are no longer friends

People Magazine reports that in the new episode of Real Housewives of Miami, Larsa Pippen revealed the details of her beef with the Kardashians, noting that tensions began rising when she was put in the middle of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s drama.

“I was best friends with Kim, and I love her and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle,” Pippen divulged on the reality series. “I took a beating because I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that basically was the demise of our relationship. I knew too much, I was a problem, and so, whatever. That’s kind of what happened.”

In knowing this information, it’s become apparent that Pippen is having a difficult time moving on from the way this friendship ended. This can be especially seen in the many times (including this one) the reality star brought up the Kardashian family throughout season 4, something her cast-mates couldn’t help but be annoyed by and wonder if she’s telling the whole truth or trying to save face.

“I know she was friends with Kim for a long time and they had a downfall,” Larsa Pippen’s co-star Adriana de Moura expressed. “I think it’s because sometimes Larsa can be a little judgmental or it was because of the situation with Tristan and Khloe and Larsa in the middle.”

Being that only one side of the drama was mentioned, it’s difficult to be certain if Larsa Pippen is telling the truth or if Adriana de Moura may be on to something. After all, her statements regarding Pippen’s (alleged) inability to butt out of family drama seems to be the common denominator in both of their statements.

We may know a little more than we did before, but, without a doubt, the unknowns of this beef just multiplied in number.

Perhaps in hearing Larsa Pippen’s perspective, the Kardashians will finally clear the air. However, as we wait for this to happen, it seems we’ll just have to take Pippen’s word for it.
