In an unexpected turn of events, Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Younes Bendjima is making comments about Kanye West. Is he on the rapper’s side in his drama with Kim Kardashian? It’s entirely possible.

Many might assume the Algerian model supports West simply because he’s not the biggest fan of the Kardashian family following his messy breakup from Kourtney Kardashian. The reason why can be found in the fact that Bendjima didn’t like being a sour topic amongst the sisters and especially didn’t appreciate how Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans often saw him painted in a negative light. This led to Bendjima taking to his socials to seemingly respond to the family with this tweet below:

"Do yourself a favour. Surround yourself with those who speak of visions, ideas, goals, growth. Not those who sit and gossip about others. And if you find yourself in that situation, excuse yourself and walk away. The game ends when you choose to leave such a gathering."

Why Younes Bendjima supports Kanye West

The Sun reports that Younes Bendjima is publicly supporting Kanye West simply because he was touched by the musician’s Netflix docuseries, jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy. Specifically, whenever the title discussed West’s late mother, Donda West.

In a now-unavailable Instagram Story, Bendjima reposted a tweet that spoke in favor of West’s journey thus far and how Donda West was a major influence in the musician’s life. You can see the tweet via @RayDaniels below.

In addition to reposting the tweet, Bendjima captioned this Instagram Story with a simple “Dear Mama…”.

While we don’t know what this statement means exactly, it is safe to assume, like many, he acknowledges West’s pain of losing a parent and realizes tragic events like these can change people greatly.

Are Younes Bendjima and Kanye West friends?

Unlike West’s relationship with Tristan Thompson, Younes Bendjima and Kanye West don’t appear to be the closest of pals, which is why fans can tell Bendjima backing West is genuine and is not just a way to get back at the Kardashian family.

Of course, being that Bendjima and West used to run in the same circles, it’s possible they could join together for a dinner in the near or distant future. Perhaps there the model will have a deep heart-to-heart discussion with the “Eazy” rapper about the Kardashian family. Or, maybe they’ll sit down to discuss more sentimental things.

Only time will tell if that will actually happen, but until then, we’ll keep watch on Younes Bendjima’s Instagram for any more stories where he declares his support for Ye.
