Khloe Kardashian writes heartwarming message to Tristan Thompson’s mother Andrea
Khloe Kardashian took some time out and her heart to write an uplifting message to Andrea, the mother of Tristan Thompson, the father of her two children, and former partner. The Good American founder paired the message with an Instagram carousel of photos of Andrea and her family. Andrea passed away suddenly on January 5th from a heart attack in Toronto, Canada, at 54.
In the message, Khloe’s grief can be felt as she pours out the words, “Life can be brutally unfair at times and this has been one of the toughest times in so many of our lives.”
She ended the message with a Bible verse from the Book of John, which emphasizes that they’ll [Khloe and Andrea] will meet again in the afterlife.

"I have been avoiding this…. Avoiding accepting this is real. I have so much to say but nothing at all…. I have so many emotions and still I feel numb. Life can be brutally unfair at times and This has been one of the toughest times in so many of our lives. But at the same time, I feel blessed that I am lucky to have had someone that makes saying goodbye so incredibly difficult. So difficult that I’m choosing not to say goodbye for good because that is something I cannot fathom. Goodbyes for good are something I don’t believe in. I KNOW I will see you again. I know I will hear your sweet voice and infectious laugh again. I know I’ll get to feel that embrace of yours. I’ll see you again with the many that have gone before you that I so desperately miss, love and cherish. Andrea was the mother of four boys, with Tristan being the oldest and Amari the youngest. Amari is only sixteen years old and was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2007. Andrea doted on Amari 24/7 due to his condition. Tristan, for his part, began the Amari Thompson Foundation in 2013, which advocates and helps families who have members with epilepsy. Proudly, Tristan says that his little brother is his greatest inspiration.
On January 6th, Kris Jenner confirmed the passing of Andrea and, in her own words, described her as “the most amazing, dedicated, devoted, and selfless mom and such a loving, kind, and fabulous grandmother. ”
She, Khloe, and Kim privately flew to Toronto to attend Andrea’s funeral on January 14th. They were all there to show their support for Tristan and be there for him. Photos were obtained by the outlet TMZ.
Khloe and Tristan are the parents of 4-year-old True Thompson and a son that the ex-couple welcomed through a surrogate on July 28th, 2022. His arrival home was covered in the second season finale of The Kardashians. In December, the newest family member attended the annual Christmas party with Khloe and True.
