North West will soon have her first acting credit role.  She will debut her career as a new character (possibly a puppy) in the upcoming Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie set to premiere in theaters this October.  Her mother, Kim Kardashian, will reprise her role of Delores, the white poodle from the first movie.  Her seven-year-old son, Saint, will also have a cameo in the film.

Nickelodeon and Spinmaster announced the news on Wednesday, January 25th.  Paramount Pics shared the cast listing on Instagram.  Kim additionally shared the news in her story profile.  Paw Patrol:  The Mighty Movie will serve as a sequel to the first one, Paw Patrol:  The Movie.

Here is the official synopsis released by Nickelodeon.

"When a magical meteor crash lands in Adventure City, it gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers, transforming them into The MIGHTY PUPS! For Skye, the smallest member of the team, her new powers are a dream come true. But things take a turn for the worse when the pups’ archrival Humdinger breaks out of jail and teams up with Victoria Vance, a meteor-obsessed mad scientist, to steal the superpowers and turn themselves into supervillains. With the fate of Adventure City hanging in the balance, the Mighty Pups have to stop the supervillains before it’s too late, and Skye will need to learn that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference."

Joining North, Kim, and Saint will be newcomers to the Paw Patrol franchise: Kristen Bell, Taraji P. Hanson, James Marsden, McKenna Grace, Finn Lee-Epp, Serena Williams, Christian Convery, and Lil Rel Howery.  Marsai Martin and Ron Pardo, as Mayor Humdinger, will be returning.

Both films are spin-offs from the hit Nickelodeon preschool series Paw Patrol, now in its tenth year.  Due to the pups’ popularity, toys, clothes, books, home goods, and even food have been marketed, making Paw Patrol one of the most successful children’s franchises of all time.

Kim threw a screening party for her four children when the first Paw Patrol movie was released in 2021 at her LA home.  Included in the audience were her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, brother Rob’s daughter Dream, and Khloe’s daughter True.

For Kim, she accepted the movie role as her kids are big fans of the city hero pups.

“I did this for you guys because I know how much you guys love Paw Patrol.”  She told her kids at the party, which was highlighted in her Instagram stories at the time.

Paw Patrol:  The Mighty Movie hits theaters on September 29th.
