Kim Kardashian took acting lessons to prep for American Horror Story

Kim Kardashian is preparing for her upcoming role on American Horror Story by taking acting classes. The SKIMS founder dabbled in a handful of films and shows, with a blend of comedy and drama over the years, but had no formal training for the parts.

Yet, when speaking with Variety reporter Marc Malkin on the Met Gala Red Carpet on May 1st, where Kim wore an elaborate Schiaparelli dress constructed with over 50,000 pearls, she revealed, “Its really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow. I’m so excited for the experience.”

Kim likes to challenge herself when it comes to new experiences and projects.

It’s a challenge. I like to challenge myself,” she elaborated to Malkin.

While her role is under the shadows now, The Kardashians personality will play alongside Emma Roberts and supermodel Cara Delevingne in the twelfth season, Delicate. The season’s theme is a take on the 1960s cult hit Rosemary’s Baby and the upcoming August book Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine.

Kim’s portion of the show will begin filming at the of the month, so the mom of four will return to the Big Apple to do so.

Kim’s past acting projects are Disaster Movie (2008), Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor (2013), and Paw Patrol: The Movie (2021). Along with her film roles, the beauty mogul guest-starred in several tv productions, including American Dad, Drop Dead Diva, 2 Broke Girls, Last Man Standing, and 30 Rock.

Kim and her 9-year daughter, North West, and her eldest son, Saint West, will star together in the upcoming Paw Patrol: The Movie sequel, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie. The KUWTK alum is set to reprise her role as Dolores the Poodle, but North’s and Saint’s remain unclear at the moment.
