Robert Kardashian is honored at Kourtney’s wedding

Most women want their father to walk them down the aisle at their wedding. Unfortunately, Robert Kardashian Sr. passed away in 2003, so he couldn’t be physically there to walk his oldest child down the aisle, but he was present in spirit. On the day of Kravis’s Portifino wedding, Kris Jenner gave Kourtney her late dad’s wedding ring. The Poosh founder opened up about the gift’s significance and why it was so important.

“When my dad died, I remember thinking like, ‘I never wanna get married because my dad isn’t there to walk me down the aisle,‘ so that gift meant so much,” Kourtney said of the ring.

Before Travis proposed to his wife on the beach, he visited the Kardashian patriarch’s grave to ask for his daughter’s hand in marriage. It was an emotional gesture, to say the very least, and even Kris dropped a tear or two.
