Khloé Kardashian slams claims that niece Dream Kardashian is her favorite
Khloé Kardashian puts the rumors to rest after reading some “clickbait” pieces regarding her favoriting her niece, Dream Kardashian, over the other Kardashian-Jenner children, including her own, True and Tatum. For the Good American founder, the articles (though not named) caused some heartbreak, so naturally, she addressed the issues via Instagram.
“It saddens me to see clickbait that are [is] taken out of context or twisted to be something it’s not,” the mom of two wrote on her IG Stories on Thursday, July 13th. “I love ALL of my nieces and nephews more than I can express. Dream and I are particularly close. My brother [Rob] and I are extremely close. I am with Dream all the time because I’m with my brother all the time. I love her beyond measure. True and Dream are best friends, and I feel so incredibly blessed that they have this relationship. I consider ALL my nieces and nephews my babies. I even consider my sisters my babies.”
Khloé continued, “I take pride in this love, and I always have. I wholeheartedly believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Life is full of ups and downs, and I am proud that we have a family that can lean on one another. That’s what family does. We are a tribe, and all of us will be there for one another. Especially the babies!”
To backtrack, the issues arose when Khloé helped her brother Rob plan out Dream’s 6th birthday party, per documented on the latest The Kardashians episode. Rob, who prefers to be out of the camera’s spotlight, spoke with his older sister on the phone.
In a way, this is a subtle comeback to the family’s media empire.
At the party, Khloé admitted that she feels like a “third parent” rather than just an aunt.
“I mean, I do know how important it is for Dream to have a great maternal influence,” she reveals in her confessional. “Whether that be from me, her own mom, or whoever. It’s important, and whoever she gets it from, she gets it from.”
Scott Disick praised Khloé’s maternal instinct and elaborate party planning while they sat inside the playhouse.
“You’re like the wheel that makes the car move,” he says.
Khloé further addressed the imagined rift between her and Dream’s mother (and Rob’s ex), Black Chyna, whose legal name is Angela White. During her confessional on Thursday episode, the reality star affirmed that there’s “no relationship” between her and Dream’s mom, as it’s hard to have one “when they sue you for hundreds of millions of dollars.”
In April 2022, the Kardashians and Blac Chyna were involved in a multi-million dollar legal suit over Chyna’s defamation claims. Although stressing, the judge ruled the suits in the Kardashians’ favor.
However, Khloê praised Chyna for “doing the best she can as a parent,” and she reflected the same for Rob and herself.
“Life is challenging enough. I hate how something so sweet as Dream’s 6th birthday get[s] twisted,” Khloé wrote for her last Story slide.
“Rob is doing the best he can as a parent and in life. Angela is doing the best she can as a parent and in life. I am doing the best I can as a parent and in life. We ALL are trying to do our best in life. Our children are happy and healthy! And most of all, they are LOVED!! LOVED by everyone in our tribe.”
“I’m sure the narrative of “The Kardashians vs. Chyna” is more fun to read about, but there is really nothing there anymore. The focus is on Dream and her happiness and making sure she feels unconditional love at her mommy’s house, at her daddy’s house, and any family’s house for that matter.”
The author closed her argument, “Please stop pinning us against one other. Life is hard enough. Let’s try to lead with love and understanding, especially when children are involved [and] who may see your clickbait one day.”
For her part, Chyna agreed with Khloé’s sentiment, saying to TMZ that “We are all family at the end of the day.”
On a lighter note, Dream had a butterfly-themed party for her sixth birthday. With the help of a hand-written list, the little girl’s expectations were beyond everything she wanted.
