First look at Kim Kardashian in American Horror Story season 12

Kim Kardashian gave quite a spooky appearance in the teaser trailer for the forthcoming 12th season of American Horror Story. The reality star holds a newborn as she glances directly at the camera, indicating that she’s one fierce mother. As the teaser weaves through, a bone-chilling version of the lullaby, “Rock-a-bye Baby,” and Victorian-esque scenes can be heard and seen.

For Kim, she dons a black liquid leather halter dress and matching gloves. Her naturally dark hair is completely bleached to white and styled long and straight. To complete her look, long, fringy lashes are applied, and a bright, blood-red lip color is painted across Kim’s pout.

The SKIMS founder will portray a woman named Siobhan Walsh and will costar alongside AHS alum Emma Roberts as Anna Alcott and model Cara Delevingne.

When it comes to releasing their promos, American Horror Story doesn’t shy out of the fright factor but leaves the audience in a limbo of storylines aligned with the season’s theme.

The twelfth AHS installment will be called Delicate, which is based on the August book release, Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine. The story revolves around a woman trying to have a baby, but when she feels like her doctor lied to her about miscarrying, she has an instinct that the child she’s carrying is still very much alive. However, sinister things are happening.

Although Kim had other acting projects under her belt, including the 2008 comedy Disaster Movie and the Nickelodeon kid’s hit Paw Patrol: The Movie, American Horror Story is her most “challenging” role yet.

On the Red Carpet at this year’s Met Gala, Kim revealed that she “was taking acting lessons” to prep for the assignment. She additionally mentioned that she was “excited” about the new experience and to step out of her “comfort zone.”

Zachary Quinto, who will have a cameo in American Horror Story: Delicate, had nothing but praising words for The Kardashians star. At the time of their meeting, Quinto called her “lovely and “warm.”

“She seemed [really] in her element,” the Pennsylvania native told People in early June. “And I was really impressed by her spirit and openness. I really look forward to seeing this season because I think she’s gonna do a wonderful job.”

American Horror Story: Delicate will set to premiere in late summer on FX and Hulu.
