The Kardashians and younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner can be competitive while keeping it healthy and fun. In the season 4 premiere, the famous family, minus Kourtney, vacationed in Cabo San Lucas for bonding. During a cooking challenge, the sisters got a little too fierce with their competitiveness. See why by continuing reading!
It’s between the Kardashians and Jenners when making the most delicious guacamole. Now, who doesn’t love guacamole? It’s filled with healthy avocados, sour cream, garlic, and spices. It’s paired with tortilla chips, and vegetables can be spread across toast or eaten alone.
“This is the guacamole challenge, ladies and gentlemen,” Kris announces as her daughters quickly gather the ingredients for the Spanish dip. Kim and Khloé were paired, while Kendall and Kylie became the second team. Some edginess occurred as the teams only had 10 minutes on the clock, and Kim’s previous competitive attitude came to light.
“We are all very competitive people in a very healthy way,” Khloé says in her confessional. “I think Kim is the most competitive.”
Kim, for her part, acknowledges her “fault.” but is proud of the fact.
“I am competitive,” the middle Kardashian sister says. “I’m like, (pounds fist), I mean, who doesn’t like to win? Would I be lying and saying that I’d love to be a loser, you know? Like, who says that?”
However, Kim may have gotten a little too proud when Kendall called her sister out for cheating when she was caught snitching vegetables out of her and Kylie’s bowl. Despite this, Kim confesses she’s not a “dirty fighter” and wholeheartedly believes her “talent” will be enough to win the guac challenge.
Khloé says otherwise as she recalls a memory of Kim cheating on cooking.
“Please. Kim used to have me make cupcakes and frost them, and then I would leave, and she would tell her boyfriends that she made them all.”
In the challenge, Khloé was no better either, for she knocked Kendall’s tortillas off the griddle. Kylie decided to ignore her sisters’ antics and just “tunnel” in on her “craft” and focus on the point of being there.
To win.
Kris and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, tallied up the final scores of both teams and decided on the winners.
“Listen, it’s a draw [as] you guys are all talented guacamole chefs,” says Kris when determining the champions. “I admire you and salute you.”
What else happened on The Kardashians’ season 4 premiere?
Kim and Kourtney had a heated phone argument, which ended badly with Kourtney calling her sister a “witch.” Another is the topic of beer, as Kim has never tried it before, and now that she has, it tastes “sweet.” Khloé has an immense fear of whales, as it was depicted that she freaked out watching the whales come to the ocean’s service at their vacation home in Cabo.
Other than that, it was pretty much drama-free.
