Kim Kardashian turned 43 on October 21st, and in typical Kardashian fashion, she celebrated her birthday in grandeur. It has been a wild year for the star, and we know it’ll only get better.
If you’ve been keeping up with Kim Kardashian over the past year, you’ll know she had a full plate. In Fall 2022, she collaborated with designers Dolce and Gabbana and launched an archive collection with a fashion show. She gave a lecture back in January at Harvard Business School for her company SKIMS and made the cover of Time Magazine for “100 Most Influential Women.” And then, Kim splashed across our small screens (again) with her introduction to the American Horror Story family as Siobhan Corbyn.
Kim did all of this while The Kardashians on Hulu was filming and have since rolled out their third season and now are in the middle of the fourth. Fans have witnessed quite some hair-raising scenes between the sisters, including Kim and Kourtney’s infamous feud.
Don’t think that life will soon slow down for the mother of four. Kim has lots more to accomplish and to give.
How did Kim Kardashian celebrate her 43rd birthday?
Kim first celebrated her birthday on Friday night, October 20th, at the Funke Restaurant in Beverly Hills. She wore a daring red dress that flaunted her curves with her dark hair in long, loose waves for the occasion. The party guests included her sisters Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie, her mom Kris, a bunch of celebrities such as Ivanka Trump, Kimora Lee, and Hailey Bieber, with the addition of Kim’s friends, including twins Khadijah and Malika Haqq, Natalie Halcro, and Steph Shepherd. Once on the rooftop, everyone had pasta dishes to enjoy and cake for dessert.
Khloé then shared some behind-the-scenes of Kim’s party via her Instagram. In the set, gold table settings and wood furniture complemented the Southern Californian greenery and the dark sky. Since the event was hosted outdoors, the decor was minimal, with a candle at each table seat and an arched trellis at the entry.
The youngest Kardashian sister then shared some sweet birthday tributes to Kim, with a collection of throwbacks and current snaps honoring her older sister’s special day. In the caption, she called Kim her “superhero.”
While Kourtney didn’t attend the festivities, she did share a few photos of her and Kim as young girls growing up and attending Halloween events.
“Happy birthday to my first sister @kimkardashian!” She wrote on the Story’s first photo. “Thank you for all those years of bossing you around and you actually listening to all of my crazy ideas. People think the fights they’ve seen on TV are bad if only they got to witness the hair-pulling, nail-digging ones from early high school. The joys of sisterhood. I love you deeply, forever and always. May God bless this year with love, happiness, and abundant joy.”
Kris uploaded her own IG carousel honoring her second child, and in the last slide is a photo of her, Kim, and her ex-husband, Robert Kardashian. In the caption, she calls Kim an “inspiration to so many.“
