Is Kylie Jenner launching her own fashion line with Khy?
Kylie Jenner is well known for her beauty company, Kylie Cosmetics, and has been a reality star since childhood. Now, she might be adding a fashion line to her growing empire.
Kylie is taking a page from her older sisters,’ Kim Kardashian and Khloê Kardashian’s business books as she’s about to launch her fashion line, Khy. There’ll be twelve pieces in the first collection ranging from sizes XXS to 4XL, with the price points at a moderate level between $49 and $198. The business team Emma and Jens Grede, who work with Kim and Khloé on their respective lines, are Kylie’s partners for Khy.
“Khy is a homage to the limitless possibilities of fashion. We are breaking down barriers and will redefine the meaning of a designer brand, with creativity and quality at a better price,” the 26-year-old revealed in a press statement for her new company. “I wanted to make Khy a platform for our customers to have the opportunity to experience fashion through new designers and brands, but at a more accessible price.”
If you’re wondering about the line’s name, it’s a “play” on Kylie’s nickname.
Earlier this week, Kylie and her mother, Kris Jenner, gave a sneak peek via Instagram of one of Khy’s pieces, a long black vegan leather coat worn by Kylie. She pairs the coat with red patent leather pumps and a red lip.
Kylie collaborated with her older sister, Kendall Jenner, in 2015 to launch the brand Kendall + Kylie, which expanded across several fashion retailers and department stores. The line comprises Southern Californian style with a youthful yet fun twist, directing to young adults and college-aged consumers.

For Khy, it has a more mature feel and look and represents Khylie’s own unique fashion sense.
“The whole line is really inspired by my personal wardrobe and the different moods that I’m in,” she shares with the November Issue of The Wall Street Journal. In the publication’s photoshoot, Kylie dons some of Khy’s pieces, including a strapless faux leather mini dress.
Khy will work with different designers (per the press release) to curate one-of-a-kind fashions, and its first collection will be the designer duo Namilia.
Khy and its website, Khy.com, will debut on November 1st. Potential shoppers can join the mailing list to get early access to the launch.
