Scott Disick has thoughts about leaving Southern California behind and relocating to his home state of New York. The reason behind his thinking? He believes that his current town of Hidden Hills has nothing to offer him, except for his three children —Mason, Penelope, and Reign—whom he shares with his partner, Kourtney Kardashian Barker.
The conversion occurred during the season 7 premiere of The Kardashians, when the Flip It Like Disick star confided in Khloé Kardashian about his potential move. Needless to say, she wasn't too thrilled about his decision.
"I have something I want to throw past you, and you can tell me what you think. So, I’ve been thinking about it for a minute," Scott says to the mother of two. "And you know, the fires [earlier this year] were kind [of] crazy and everything. I feel like California’s been pretty crazy. I think I might move back to New York.”
Khloé, for a lack of a better word, was shocked by his revelation. She pointed out the concerns surrounding his kids, but Scott affirmed that "Mason probably move with me" and reside in an Uptown portion of New York, like the borough of Manhattan. He'll then fly Penelope and Reign out and will do the same for himself.
Scott also noted that he doesn't have much of a social life in Cali, as opposed to when he did in his 20s and 30s. But, let me tell you, priorities shift as we age and the same could be said for him. We might not always favor it, but it's a fact of life.
In her confessional, Khloé expressed even more worry for Scott, highlighting that despite that he made errors, that he will always be family. That's very forgiving on her part, because most wouldn't even bat an eye of re-acceptance.
"Moving to New York? Where the [f---] is this coming from? What are you going to do with your kids? Are they going to be bicoastal? Are you getting rid of your house here? Does Kourtney know? How does she feel about this? Are you still going to film the show? What’s happening?”
For the record, Kourtney doesnt know about Scott's plans. And as a mother, she won't be over the moon over the thought of her children being transported from one end of the US to the other.
How Scott Disick's move could impact The Kardashians
If Scott realizes his plans of moving back to the Big Apple, then his appearances on the hit Hulu show. He has been a part of the Kardashians lore and universe since its early beginnings in 2007, thanks to being Kourtney's significant other at the time. Like the rest of the famous famous, has shared his ups and downs throughout the years.
Of course, Scott's NYC return is only an idea, and he hasn't decided on it as of this writing. If he does, he'll not only be missed by the Kardashians but also by the fans.
