Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Pluto, and all of their Disney friends will be reuniting for the holidays for The Wonderful World of Disney Christmas Spectacular! The annual special is filmed exclusively at the Disney theme parks in the US and will showcase all the festive offerings of Christmas. What's special about the 2025 initiation is that this year marks the Spectacular's 10th anniversary! Moving on, there will also be a giftload of musical performers, behind-the-scenes footage of how the parks get festooned for the season, and so much more! And you can bet that the one and only Santa Claus will magically appear!

Popular Dancing With The Stars judge is set to host!
Derek Hough will be this year's Master of Ceremonies, and he'll bring his enthusiasm to the two-hour event! Last year, Alfonso Ribeiro and Hough's younger sister, Julianne, hosted the Spectacular and gave it a merry charm.
We'll see Derek dance with Disney characters, give his insight on the parks, and announce each of the performers as they come onstage!
And if he wasn't enough, Zootopia 2's Ginnifer Goodwin will be the narrator. She'll sit down in front of a cozy fireplace with a storybook in hand as she weaves through the special. In case you haven't yet heard, Zootopia 2 brought in a tremendous $556 million during its opening weekend and became the most successful global opening in 2025. The film premiered on November 26- the day before Thanksgiving, and the long weekend worked to its advantage.

It certainly wouldn't be Christmas without music, and this year there will be an eclectic mix of genres. Pop punkers Good Charlotte will get the crowd to rock out to their track, "Fairytale of New York." Then you might have seen her in the SKIMS Christmas campaign with North West, Mariah the Scientist. She'll perform the classic, "Santa Baby."

You'll want to tune in at 8 PM EST/7 PM CST on December 1 (tonight!) on ABC, because that's where and when The Wonderful World of Disney Spectacular will broadcast. It'll run for two hours, giving us plenty of things to love and celebrate the holiday season.
If you can't make the live airing, then Hulu will have the special the next day (December 2) for streaming.
