Things got more 'freakier' between Khloé Kardashian and her momager, Kris Jenner, when the two "switch" bodies for the day, per the fashion of Freaky Friday and its upcoming sequel Freakier Friday. We're sure that the ladies swapped back, but during the moment, it was all part of a duo promo for their Hulu series, The Kardashians, and Disney's Freakier Friday, out on August 8.
The Kardashians uploaded the Instagram Reel on Friday, August 1, and while we know the release date for the movie, could it be a hint that the season 7 premiere date of the reality show will be announced soon? Who knows, for that's up to Hulu and Disney, but that aside, Khloé and Kris have a niche for comedic flair, for the giggling wouldn't stop.
In the clip, the Khloud Foods founder and her mom are in her Khloé In Wonder Land podcast studio, and they are freaked out when they become the other. Naturally, Kris gets blamed for the occurrence, and Khloé states that she would rather have her mom be in Scott's than her own. Why? We don't know, but the guy could use a break.
"Maybe we have to learn a lesson walking in each other's shoes,"
Later in the clip, not only did the women switch bodies, but they also switched clothes. Khloé sports a maroon blazer, tie, and pixie wig, having changed from a white tee and black leather pants. Meanwhile, Kris switches into a black top, jeans, and a brown wig, reflecting Khloé.
The best part though? When Jamie Lee Curtis steps in and acts like their therapist. It's hilarious and if you ever need more proof of double marketing for a show and a film, this is how it's done.
"Let me guess," the Freakier Friday actress says in the Reel, "Mystical body swap?"
Both Khloé and Kris affirmed her observation.
"How did you know?" Kris asks.
"I get this a lot," Curtis replies.
Freakier Friday will continue the switches
It has been 22 years since Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis portrayed Anna and Tess Colman in Freaky Friday, and now, they're reprising their roles in Freakier Friday. However, there's more hijinks this time around as Anna's daughters feel the family's curse.
Honestly, swapping bodies is just an understatement, as the phenomenon carves the way for a better understanding of the people we know. However, at the same time, it would feel weird or even annoying, because it means we have to learn how to operate this new body.
Then, again, that's the point.
