Khloé Kardashian will drop popcorn as her first Khloud Foods launch

Popcorn is as classic and simple as you can get when it comes to snack foods and a favorite of movie-goers. It's also versatile, meaning you can come up with numerous flavors- from salty to savory to spicy to sweet, and it's still satisfying.

When deciding on a snack, Khloê reached for popcorn as her first Khloud Foods product. The reality star has been more proactive regarding her snack choices, despite the fact that she thrives on a "kids menu." Yet, it was her own children, True and Tatum Thompson, who made her decide to take more initiatives in what goes in their bodies.

"I'm disappointed in so much of the food industry these days, and for me, it's very overwhelming to sometimes pack lunches for my kids or even know what I want, and this is just the very start of what I hope Khloud [Foods] will be," the reality star revealed to People on April 22nd.

Khloé additionally expressed what she hopes for the future of her brand and feeding not only her children, but helping others in their food journeys as well.

"What I really pray [for is that what] comes of Khloud is a trusting relationship. It's not just for kids, but for my kids. I've given them a lot of foods. I'm going to sound very corny, but I've given them products that I trusted, and then you look into it, and you're like, ‘Wait, this is just as bad as an unhealthy product."

And Khloé is correct regarding what's inside foods, as they're often filled with chemicals, dyes, preservatives, and difficult-to-pronounce ingredients. Her popcorn will have none of that, and as a health bonus, it's protein-enriched.

On Instagram, she debuted the popcorn collection in three new flavors: Olive Oil and Sea Salt, Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn, and White Cheddar. Each one has a protein count of seven, is GMO-free, and contains real ingredients. The average Popcon has about 2-3 grams of protein per 3-cup serving, so you'll get your fix without the guilt.

When will the Khloud Foods Protein Popcorn be available?

According to Instagram and Khloudfoods.com, the popcorn will be available on April 29 on the official website and in Target stores nationwide. Some stores have already has the snack on their shelves and online, retailing at $4.99.
