During the December 4 episode of The Kardashians, the 2016 Paris robbery trial was highlighted, along with Kim Kardashian retelling her experience of that horrific night. From her standpoint, it was the revisitation of the trauma, along with feedback from her family.

Kim wasn't alone during her 2016 Paris trip, for she was attending Fashion Week. Joining her were her sisters Kourtney and Kendall, her mother Kris Jenner, and her then-husband, Kanye West. It was supposed to be a getaway of leisure and business, but wound up becoming a nightmare.

While Kris, her sisters, her brother Rob, and her "lifer," Simone Harouche, surrounded Kim with loving support and sympathy for her ordeal, there were also people who believed that the robbery was a setup an a ploy for relevance. One of those people in the group was Kanye.

Now, it doesn't matter where your opinion leads you when you think of the Kardashians, but to say that Kim's situation was 'faked' is insulting. Sure, she might have money and extravagances, but she's still human and a mother. And to have the words spill out of her own husband's mouth is even painfully worse.

Here's what Kim Kardashian said about Kanye West's viewpoint on the Paris Robbery

In her confessional, Kim shared the details of Kanye's words. She described them as a 'knife to her heart,' and how the one individual who's supposed to be your number one supporter could tear your life down.

"Even my ex-husband had said, ‘You've faked your robbery for a TV show.' And he had said that in front of all these people.' That was a knife to my heart. Just to think that someone wouldn't believe you that is so close to you, that should know you and that should know how much that affected your life."

The couple were married from 2014 to 2021 and dubbed by the public as "Kimye." During the seven-year union, Kim and Kanye had four children. At the time of the robbery, the two oldest, North and Saint West, were just babies.

When Kris heard the news regarding the fakery, she was naturally angry by it. Again, this is something that should be taken seriously, and not as a joke by others for their own agenda.

"The narrative that my daughter would make something like this up was ludicrous. It was just unfathomable that somebody could have said something like that."

With everything that the experience gave, it provided Kim a better sense of how she should project herself to the world, and that includes what she posts on social media. It additionally entails that she now has a more advanced security wherever she goes.

The important thing though is that Kim's glad that the robbery and trial is now behind her, and she can fully embrace life without its burdens.

The Kardashians stream new episodes every Thursday on Hulu.
