It's well known that Kim Kardashian presents the best gifts, no matter the attached price tag. The reality star has dropped unique, hard-to-find items for her kids on their birthdays and during the holidays, knowing that Chicago, North, Psalm, and Saint would appreciate them. In return, Kim's family gave their own tokens, such as the dollhouses Kris Jenner had custom-made for each of her daughters one Christmas. The heartfelt gift reminded Kim of the dollhouses she grew up with and brought her to tears.
In the November 20 episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kim gave her younger sister, Khloé Kardashian something from the heart. Moreover, the gift was a very important and special token of their father, the late Robert Kardashian. And as it was such a monumental artifact, Kim was going to snag it with whatever it took her. Her determined efforts paid off, and Khloé was beyond the moon after receiving Kim's sought-after gift!
And so are we, because the item belongs to the family, not to some random person's home. Even better, Kim used a pseudonym to bid on it, so nobody else would know it was her. If she hadn't, then the media would've had a field day.
Khloé Kardashian gets Robert Kardashian's Bible
On Easter Eve, Kim surprised Khloé with the original copy of their father's Bible, aka the special item we mentioned. The whole thing unfolded in the episode, and the book, which Robert loved unconditionally, was filled with his handwriting, along with his name embossed in gold on the leather cover.
One of the quotes that the late attorney written among the pages was,
"The tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do."
Receiving the Bible brought the youngest Kardashian sister to tears. Robert passed away in 2003 from advanced esophageal cancer when Khloé was only nineteen years old. Her dad didn't see her get married or meet his grandchildren in person, but she has always kept him locked in her heart and kept his legacy alive.
In her confessional, Khloé opened up regarding her reaction toward the Bible.
"I don't have many things of my dad's. When my dad died, things happened, and we didn't get a lot of his stuff. Just seeing his name and handwriting was very sentimental to me."
A year before the trial of the century- the 1995 O.J. Simpson Case- Robert gifted the Book to the once-famed football pro, where it became a part of his Estate following his 2024 death from cancer. The Bible naturally went to auction, and in the episode, Kim admitted that she paid $80,000 for it, making her the highest bidder. Her purchase followed her attempt to offer $15,000, but the auction house declined the transaction.
On another note, both Kim and Khloé confirmed that Robert Kardashian is the latter's biological father, and not Simpson. He even said on X (formerly Twitter) in 2019 that he wasn't her father and had zero interest in Kis.
We're glad that Khloé got her dad's Bible as it means everything to her.
