Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner are taking a trip back in time to the sexy 1970s for the Roberto Cavalli x SKIMS campaign. In an Instagram Carousel post on June 26, the reality star shared a group of behind-the-scenes snaps of herself and her mother getting ready for the photo session.

In case you need a fill-in, SKIMS partnered with the Italian designer, Roberto Cavalli, to create one-of-a-kind pieces for the SKIMS Swim line. The limited collection features cover-ups, dresses, swimsuits, and accessories, which will be available on June 27 at 6:00 AM PST or 9 AM EST. The pieces have a 70s aesthetic, as well as a late 2020s vibe.

Needless to say, Kim is heavily promoting her latest drop with her multi-billion-dollar fashion brand. In the Carousel, she's wearing a brown and cream zebra triangle bikini top and matching bottoms, which accentuate her toned figure and complement her eyes and skin tone. For glam, Kim's wearing a warm-toned blonde wig, with peeks of her natural dark hair. Kris is wearing the cover-up and scarf in the same distinct pattern, as she and her daughter pose in different rooms in the villa.

"CAVALLI x SKIMS BTS," the caption reads.

Cavalli creative director, Fausto Puglisi calls Kim "the modern [day] Marilyn Monroe," a pop culture icon, and his source of inspiration. He was already set to work with her when she contacted him on social media. Soon enough, the two worked alongside and observed different designs and pieces, until the final collection was approved for sale.

The Cavalli collaboration is one of the many that SKIMS has undertaken over the years since its inception in 2019. Swarovski, Dolce and Gabbana, and Fendi are only a few. Earlier this year, SKIMS partnered with Nike to launch a women's athletic line. While it was scheduled to be released in Spring 2025, the date has been pushed to later this year due to production issues. Despite this hiccup, both companies promise to deliver high-quality merchandise to consumers.

We're expecting the Cavalli x SKIMS collaboration to sell out quickly, as it's a limited-edition item and offers a one-time experience. What's more, there were literally days between the announcement and the launch date, so it doesn't give people much time to plan and budget if they wish to purchase an item online at SKIMS.com. But that won't erase the excitement or passion for Kim and her company, as both are ready to accelerate.
