Kim Kardashian is getting some early Christmas time in with her kids, a few days before the big celebration on the 25th. As she should, because every mom wants to bond with their little ones. And the holiday season is a great time to do so, given its theme of unity and love.
For Christmases past, Kim included her kids- North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West- all of whom she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West- at the Christmas Eve parties. They were all dressed to the max fantastically, with Kim looking like a fairy right out of The Nutcracker. It's unlikely that we'll receive an invitation, but at least we can see the posts on Instagram a few days later.
Speaking of the social media app, Kim uploaded a Carousel of family portraits that were taken recently at her mom, Kris Jenner's, second home in Palm Springs. In the post, the star poses in a hot cocoa-brown faux-fur outfit with her kids. Chicago resembles a mini-me version of her iconic mother, while Saint and Psalm are handsomely dressed in contrasting colors.
At the end, there is preteen North, who went with an all-black look and her signature neon hair. She dances alongside Kim, that suspiciously looks like content for an upcoming TikTok video. The twelve-year-old joined Instagram in the past week and has accumulated nearly half a million followers.
Yet, it's the caption that had our minds rewiring.
"I really tried," it reads.
It's not something to throw concern about, as Kim most likely meant that she tried to get a full portrait with all of her children. But to be fair, lots of prettens and teens these days don't want to be in a photo with their parents. It's just not "cool."

For the occasion, Kim was dressed all in black, with a peekaboo bra under her dress. Meanwhile, Paris opts for a more traditional look in a sparkling red minidress with silver bows and a choker as an accessory. It's Paris for the win on this one, as it's not only her party, but the outfit really shines on her.
