Kim Kardashian is spilling her secrets regarding her fitness and workout routine! This exciting piece of days comes just days ahead of the anticipated NikeSKIMS partnership on Friday, September 26. The collection is an assortment of bottoms, hoodies, sports bras, and tops —all designed to provide the best workout experience possible and look great too.
In February, the NikeSKIMs partnership was announced and was expected to launch in the spring. Due to the tariffs, it was pushed back to the fall, and here we are now, getting ready for the companies' biggest drop to date.
The pieces come in a muted palette of blacks, browns, grays, and reds, and are constructed in a variety of "airy, matte, matte tricot, shine, vintage seamless, and weightless layers" fabrics. Each one has a specific goal in sculpting and support, but all have the same common denominator: To help in the best workout performance.
If you have been keeping track of Kim (and her sisters) all these years, then you know that she's committed to the gym. On the shows and social media, Kim highlights her workouts and often partners with a trainer to achieve her best body. It's hard work, but the results are worth it, as the movements build and transmit endorphines, as well as boost esteem.
Then, of course, it's the fashion when you're about to hit the gym, and for Kim, she sticks to the basics-leggings and a sports bra. But, recently, she's found herself incorporating other pieces to add to her outfits, such as hoodies or comfortable shorts.
She tells Vogue just she does inside her gym-lots of weight training and strengthening.
"I’m a big weightlifter, so I do lots of weights. I’ve had some back issues, so I’ve had to readjust just some of my workouts, but I have to do lower body in order to stay toned. I do a few days of upper body. I usually pick a body part, and we stick to that for the day. I do an hour and a half a day, with weights and stretching, and a little bit of cardio. I love pilates, so I will incorporate that, and I love wearing our pilates leggings. I find that when I don’t incorporate pilates at least once a week, I can feel it in my back. I definitely need that lengthening and stretching."

The NikeSKIMS wouldn't be possible without Kim's influence and input into the collection. She wants consumers to 'feel motivated' about the clothes that they wear while working out and build a gain to support other women.
As she tells Vogue, the necessity behind NikeSKIMS was to enter the athletic and sports space, and by utilizing the brand's innovations to create confident clothing, so to speak.
"We’ve really wanted to get into SKIMS Sports [and] it was a really important next step for me. I work out every single day, and everyone I know works out multiple times a week. It was really enticing and motivating to know that Nike has different innovations and technologies than we have. Anytime I want to partner with someone, no matter what the product is, it has to be inspiring to me—and I have to feel like other women will be motivated to work out, and want to wear [the collection]. We just wanted to make clothes that make you feel really good about yourself."
On Monday, September 22, SKIMS shared the "Bodies at Work" promotional clip. The 45-second media features Kim and a large gathering of women working out in the NikeSKIMS collection. It's additionally highlight the performance wear of the clothes and becoming something much more.
