Kourtney Kardashian has always been a style icon since she was a very young girl. And I guess that's only natural for when you have a mom like Kris Jenner, whose fashion sense has made a point and resided in the opulent city of Beverly Hills. She and her sisters were surrounded by high-end and luxury boutiques, such as Coach, Dior, and Gucci, as well as the Century City Mall, where the 46-year-old made prank calls with her younger sister, Kim Kardashian.

When Kourtney first sprinted into the world of reality TV in the mid-2000s, it wasn't something that she initially planned, but she decided to go along for its wild ride. As one who had to be in the spotlight, having a near-perfect appearance was a must. I don't know how the Poosh founder managed to keep it together, especially during the late 1990s and the Y2K period, when body-focused messages were prevalent and not particularly positive.

I remember that struggle myself, but I changed a few things, and now I'm happier and healthier. It doesn't mean that it's over, but I learned to manage and solve the issues to the best of my ability. And that's all you can do to keep yourself in check.

As for Kourtney, her style back in those early days reflected a preppy and Southern Californian Girl vibe, and like many fads, her fashions were the norm. Think buttoned-up and collared shirts, pops of color, and slimming silhouettes. And it was all seen on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

How the style of Kourtney Kardashian is still iconic

These days, Kourtney's opting for more comfortable and relaxing pieces, seeing how she has a one-year-old, Rocky Barker, to take care of. And it makes sense, seeing how it's more practical to run after a toddler in moto boots or Vans sneakers, rather than sky-high heels.

She also adopted a Goth-Glam style, which I love, because I often dress in all black with fan tees and boots. And for when hitting the night on the town for that rare occasion, my go-to hues are black, purple, and other dark shades. It's not because of Kourtney that I have this unique style, since I haven't really changed it since high school. Why change the tune if it works for you and you feel the best in it?

Don't be surprised if you see the mother of four "shopping" in her husband, Travis Barker of Blink-182,'s closet and wearing his clothes. Wearing his stuff, like his tees and jackets, not only has a physical feel, as you get to smell and touch your significant other, but the clothes carry an emotional response, as Kourtney feels closer to Travis when she puts on his favorite piece.

Such as recently, when she put together a black and white look from the rocker's closet and sharing it to her Instagram Stories. In the snap, the Lemme founder paired a classic tee with knee-length baggy shorts. She then accessorized the skater boy outfit with Vans, black socks, sunglasses, and handbag.

"Husband's clothes forever," she writes.

Nonetheless, whatever Kourtney wears, she'll rock it. It's just her aura and vibe.
