Kourtney Kardashian spent the night out on the town to celebrate her stepson, Landon Barker's birthday. The son of Travis Barker and his second wife, Shanna Moakler, the inspiring musician turned 22 on October 9. I remember when he was just a little guy on MTV's Meet the Barkers back in 2005. How time goes by fast!
To make the evening more special, Kourtney and Travis got dressed up for the occasion. The Poosh founder took to Instagram to show off her all-black look on October 11. She blended the hauntingly-chic styles of Morticia Adams and Elvira in a long-sleeved sheer and off-the-shoulder black dress with a faux fur-trimmed long train. The celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan updated Kourtney's waves and bangs by going with a razor sharp straight appearance, while makeup artist Leah Darcy applied a smoky eye and a matte nude lip.
Before they head out of their Hidden Hills home for Landon's big birthday bash, Kourtney and Travis snuck in a few kisses before the camera! The Blink-182 drummer looked dapper in his tux, matching his wife. They sure do make a perfect couple! In the last slide, Kourtney holds her youngest, Rocky Barker, in her arms.
"When Landon says, Black Tie," the caption reads, and ends with a black heart emoji.
The Barkers have a low-key celebration for Landon
Before the big party on Saturday night, the Barkers went out to eat on Landon's birthday to ring in his 22nd trip around the sun. Kourtney, Travis, Alabama, and the birthday honoree all dressed in red, and posed rather 'risky' in the portraits that his stepmother shared. They dined on fresh fruits and wafers for dessert, a healthy alternative to birthday cake and cookies. Yet, it was the passage that warmed our hearts!
"A light in my life! Happy birthday Landon Barker! [I] love you forever!"
As far as his life is going, Landon seems to have it together. Currently, he's dating model Skyla Sanders, with whom he's been with since this past May. Additionally, Landon's getting his musical roots planted as he tours with his own band, as well as his father's. Needless to say, he's been in the music industry even before he was born.
Here's to another successful year for Landon, with hopes that all of his wishes and dreams come true. We're only young once, so we might as well enjoy it (responsibly) while we can and thrive.
