If you're a Kardashian fan, chances are you must have heard of Jay Shetty at one point or at least read his name online. The Kardashians know several people in their Iinner Circle, and Shetty is coming into the light more frequently, giving his status with the family.
We know many of the Inner Circle members, as they're friends, co-workers, or fellow celebrities. They're frequently in the media with the sisters, and their lives suddenly become the focal point. We 'discovered' Kim through her best friend, Paris Hilton, in the early 2000s as the former was the Queen of the Y2K Era. Then, through Khloé, we were introduced to her best friend, Malika Haqq, and her twin sister, Khadijah,
The Circle keeps expanding as new people enter. As such, let's find out more about Jay Shetty and his connection with the media family.
All about Jay Shetty and his Purpose
Shetty was born in England to South Asian Indian parents. After graduating from college in 2010, he trained to become a Monk for three years. He adopted the Minimalist Lifestyle and attempted to live by the Monk's theories in the Modern World. However, it's more complicated than it appears on paper. Not wanting to be let go, Shetty utilized his principles and teachings in everyday life to help others, explaining how people can embrace a more meaningful life just by doing a few mindful practices.
He considers himself a life coach as he desires people to be the best they can be.
Shetty is a New York Times bestselling author
In 2020, Shetty released the first of his two books, Think Like A Monk: Train Your Mind For Peace and Purpose Everyday. The publication chronicles resetting your mind to live a less stressed life and structuring a more better version of yourself.
Nearly three years later, in 2023, Shetty's second book, 8 Rules of Love: How to Find It, Keep It, and Let It Go, was released. Like his first launch, 8 Rules offered a transformative outlook on life but angled on defining relationships and love.
Shetty has a highly successful podcast
Shetty launched his podcast, On Purpose With Jay Shetty, in 2019. Each hour contained a special guest who opened up about their lives and instilled "tips and tricks" on improvement. Past guests included Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, President Joe Biden, Michelle Obama, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, to name a few.
The podcast won the 2024 iHeartPodcast Award for "Best Wellness and Fitness," as well as being nominated for "Podcast of the Year."
Shetty recently appeared on Khloé Kardashian's Khloé in Wonder Land podcast
The self-help speaker was Khloé's guest on her podcast this week, and he spoke about self-validation, his upbringing, and so much more. His words can help shape our life visions on yourselves, while caring for others and allowing kindness to flow.
Shetty continues to advocate his wisdom to others. During a trip to India last year, he introduced Kim and Khloé to the ISKCON Temple, where the sisters fed the children and learned about the Krishna Spirit.
Kim found the experience "beautiful."
