Kim Kardashian pays a warm visit with children while in India: 'Forever grateful'
Kim Kardashian's recent trip to India wasn't just for the glamourous and posh wedding of Anant Ambani and his bride, Radhika Merchant. It additionally had a philanthropic purpose, one that lit up some of India's younger citizens, giving them a special moment in their lives.
Towards the tail end of her trip, Kim, her sister Khloé, and their good friend, podcaster Jay Shetty, went to a temple to pass out food and good spirits to the children. We're sure that the children --no older than ten years old, were grateful for Kim and her party's generosity, and in return, the reality star will hold the experience in her heart.
Kim Kardashian visits the ISKCON Temple while in India
Kim wore a bright orange and pink dupatta with an exotic design over a long, matching dress with her hair in colorful tropical flowers. She, along with Khloé and Shetty, visited the ISKCON Temple in Mumbai to serve meals and witness the Temple's spiritual ambiance. According to its website, ISKCON stands for the "International Society for Krishna Consciousness" and honors the principles of God, or Krishna as he's called in the Hindu and Vedic faiths.
In an Instagram Carousel Kim shared on July 16th, she documented her time at the ISKCON Temple. In a few of the snaps, she serves Indian food to the smiling kids and embraces the temple's spiritual uplift. Khloé can be spotted with her older sister as she participates in the traditions.
For her part, Kim penned an emotional message for the caption, and tagging Shetty and his wife, Radhi Devlukia.
"Thank you @jayshetty and @radhidevlukia for this beautiful experience at the Temple and having the opportunity to visit these small souls. I'm forever grateful," she writes.
Over the weekend, Kim and Khloé attended one of the biggest and most lavish weddings of the year in Mumbai: the wedding of billionaire Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Over the three-day celebration, Kim fashioned three different lehenga looks, including a daring red one before the nuptials and a gold and white one accessorized by pearls and diamonds for the wedding. For Saturday festivities, Kim swapped the diamonds for emeralds.
Khloé went with a candy pink lehenga, dripping with intricate pearls. Like her sister, Khloé sparkled in Lorraine Schwartz diamonds to complete her outfit.
