The Kardashian siblings pay tributes to their late dad Robert Kardashian on his 80th birthday

Robert Kardashian would've been 80 on February 22nd, so his children paid respects to their late dad.

The Kardashian siblings all took a moment on Instagram to pay loving tributes to their late father, Robert Kardashian, on what would've been his 80th birthday on February 22nd. The patriarch was a devoted family man, attorney, and businessman who loved his children dearly. Self-made, Kardashian instilled hardworking values in the family, and in turn, the siblings took it to their hearts and heads when it came to running their billion-dollar businesses.

Every year, for their dad's birthday, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Rob post touching tributes on social media to remember him and allow his legacy to shine to others. While challenging, opening up regarding loss is an effective way to cope.

Kourtney was the first one to share a pair of childhood throwback snaps from when she was with him in the early 1980s. In her post, she reflected how they'd have a movie date every Wednesday, and that her dad had the "best sense of humor."

Travis Barker visited Kardashian's grave to ask for his blessing to propose to Kourtney, as Travis knew how special her father was to her. It was a sweet gesture on Travis's part and one that made the tears burst.

Kim for her part, shared a black-and-white photo from a family ski trip. In the center between her and Khloé is her dad, who loved the winter sport. She further called him the "best example of the purest love."

Khloé created an emotional slideshow from her childhood with her father. She felt "blessed" for having him for nineteen years and "wished" he could meet hers and her siblings' children.

And finally, Rob Kardashian, who prefers to stay out of the limelight and off social media, took a very rare moment to honor his dad. For his post, Rob chose a vintage photo of his parents from when they were young and newly married. Rob additionally added that he misses his father every day and thanked him for the good memories they made together.

Robert Kardashian passed away from stage IV esophageal cancer in 2003, eight years after the conclusion of the infamous O.J. Simpson trial, to which the latter was found not guilty of murder. Despite being a "Dream Team" member, Kardashian held heavy doubts over the verdict, resulting in the dissipation of his friendship with Simpson.
