When Kourtney Kardashian married Travis Barker (for the third time) in Italy, she pulled out all the stops to make it the wedding of their dreams. From the blood-red roses to the music, gothic aesthetic, pasta dishes, and finally, Kourtney's gown and veil, the obvious showstopper of the luxurious event.

As if desiring to capture a piece of the magical day (May 22nd, 2022), Kourtney has done something special with her wedding veil to preserve it. In case you didn't know by now, the reality star and businesswoman dress was designed by Dolce and Gabbana, who brought her vision to life.

What Kourtney Kardashian did to preserve her wedding veil

Kourtney's wedding veil featured impressive and intricate embroidery of the Lady Madonna, with the words "Family," "Loyalty," and "Respect" stitched underneath and floral detailing. In her and Travis's Hulu special, Kourtney and Travis: 'Til Death Do Us Part, Kris had to help her oldest daughter walk down the steps so her veil wouldn't get ruined.

Taking to Instagram, per usual, Kourtney shared with her 220+ million followers how she preserved her iconic veil. She had it professionally framed in black, making the white and the Lady Madonna stand out and in focus. By archiving the veil, Kourtney's extended its lifespan and will continue to be a family keepsake for generations to come.

The piece was inspired by Travis's tattoos and his Catholic faith. While Kourtney wasn't brought up a Catholic, she respects her husband's religion, and is a Christian herself. She frequented used the phrase, "God's plan" to describe her life moments, like being a mom again.

In her post, the Lemme founder was dressed all in black, with a bold red lip and cola-tinted sunglasses as an accessory. The look has a very 1990s feel, and Kourtney loves the decade.

This season on The Kardashians, Kourtney and Travis kept their romance alive by sharing prayers over Facetime before he headed on stage with his band, Blink-182.
