Kourtney Kardashian is 'grateful' for husband Travis Barker on Father's Day
Father's Day is all about the proud papas out there, and Kourtney Kardashian couldn't be prouder and grateful for her husband, Travis Barker. We're absolutely loving the love between her and the Blink-182 drummer. It's refreshing to see, and it's evident that they'll have each other's back and beyond. Their love only expands when it comes to their seven-month-old son, Rocky Barker.
Kourtney experienced a dangerous and high-risk pregnancy with Rocky, so having him was indeed one of God's blessings. In September of 2023, she underwent emergency fetal surgery, as Rocky's life was in danger, and going through that must've been a nightmare. However, thanks to the doctors, mom and baby succeeded.
"God's timing is everything," Kourtney revealed on the June 21st episode of The Kardashians when she spoke about the birth of her son. While Rocky missed his due date on October 31st (Halloween) by a minute, he was born on November 1st, which happens to be All Saints Day, a Catholic holiday honoring the Saints.
On Sunday, the love for her Travis was shown, as Kourtney shared a sentimental Instagram carousel filled with photos of him, their son Rocky, and Kourtney's older son, Reign Disick, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick. In the first slide, Travis is sitting up in bed, holding baby Rocky, and in the last, he's giving his son a kiss as they "match" in overalls.
Kourtney wrote a heartfelt message to accompany her carousel.
"Happy Father's Day @TravisBarker!! Beyond grateful for the Dad that you are to our baby boy [Rocky], and all of our kids. You keep us safe, and protected, and take care of us. Having a family with you is heaven! Happy to celebrate you!"

Kourtney Kardashian supports Travis Barker in his Run Travis Run campaign
Adding to the proud momentum, Kourtney appeared in Travis's campaign video as he and she took on the Forrest Gump characters, Forrest and Jenny. The couple recreated the classic running scene in the 1994 Oscar-winning drama. Travis even wears the identical blue-checked shirt, khakis, Nike sneakers, and red cap, while Kourtney dresses in a blue button-down outfit.
The Run Travis Run campaign reflects Travis's miraculous survival from the 2008 plane crash. He suffered from third-degree burns that took 70% of his body and was informed by doctors that he'd never perform again or even walk. Fifteen years later, Travis is an example of endurance, strength, and persistence, and defined the odds
Travis started the Run Travis campaign in hopes others would get out there and do something positive for themselves. He'll have his first public run on July 6th in Los Angeles and the second one on July 21st in Queens, New York. If successful, there'll be more events.
According to the Run Travis Run website, the drummer wrote more about why he began the campaign and why it was important to him.
"After my [plane] accident in 2008 more than 70% of my body was burnt and I was told by doctors that I may never be able to walk or play drums the same again. I was never athletic, and I never played sports, but I immediately had this urge to prove everyone wrong, including myself.
It started with short walks, which then turned into short runs every day. I felt this sense of calmness and a rush of dopamine every time I ran. I’ve kept this up for years now, and I always start my day with it. I even run three miles every day before my shows when I’m on tour.
This past year, I ran my first half marathon and participated in a few 5ks. I loved how everyone from all walks of life ran together and supported one another. The running community is massive, and it really inspired me to create Run Travis Run as a way to bring like-minded people together. I want to motivate people to get outside and walk or run for a few hours, as well as make healthy decisions and create healthy habits.
This is what Run Travis Run is built off of and we are just getting started.
