Kourtney Kardashian shares daddy and daughter snaps from 1993: 'Missing you'

We all know Kourtney Kardashian loved the 1980s and 1990s; it was an era of growth and transition for her. The reality star always references the period on her social media with posts of her family and friends. On Monday, September 30th, Kourtney dropped a sweet tribute to her late father, Robert Kardashian.

You might remember the Kardashian patriarch as part of the late OJ Simpson's defense Dream Team of his infamous 1995 trial. Despite the fact that Simpson was acquitted of murder, Kardashian had his doubts concerning Simpson's innocence. It was a challenging experience, and ultimately, the stress led to Kardashian's untimely death in 2003.

Kardashian may have been one of the world's most famous attorneys, but to Kourtney and the rest of his children-Kim, Khloé, snd Rob, his best and honoring was a doting dad. The Poosh founder is reflecting on a fun time that she had with Kardashian.

Kourtney's parents, Kardashian and Kris Jenner, were divorced at the time the dance happened, but they both amicably agreed to co-parent. In the first snap of the nostalgic pair, Kourtney and her proud papa are standing for the photo with a backdrop of pastel and dark blue balloons. Being fourteen at the time, Kourtney displays a cheeky and moody pout (when haven't we practiced the expression when we were teens?) and her arms crossed. In complete 90s fashion, she wears a black dress with short cold-shoulders sleeves and a simple gold necklace.

It's highly likely that the photos were taken with a Kodak disposable film camera or from Kardashian's own collection, but one thing for sure before the light of instant Smartphone images, we had to impatiently wait up to a week to see our photos. If there was a bad seed among the group, there was nothing you could've done to salvage it. But experiencing all of that was a fun part of youth, and one I'll always remember.

"Father-daughter dance 1993," Kourtney writes for the post's caption, and added with, "Missing you."

The second photo is a closeup of Kardashian grinning and waving at the camera, enjoying the special night with his first-born child and daughter.

Today, Kardashian would be immensely proud of Kourtney and his kids and grandkids, as they blossomed into successful people and share the same love he had when they were growing up, and will likely follow for years to come.
