If there ever was a pair to grace the Red Carpet naturally, it's The 100's Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley. During the weekend of September 25 through the 28, the iconic couple attended the 15th annual Catalina Film Festival on Catalina Island, a boat ride away from Los Angeles.
The event would be the second occasion on which Eliza and Bob would make a statement for their short film, the dark comedy Status: Active. Back in July, the Australian natives went to their very first event for the ten-minute dark comedy. Eliza stunned us all in her green dress, and Bob always looks good wherever he goes
Now, aside from the fashions, the Catalina Film Festival marks another significant milestone for the actors. Their hard work and passion they placed into Status: Active is receiving more deserved recognition. Anyone who has seen the piece experienced a wave of emotions ranging from fear to laughter to relief. When media offers a broad range of humane feeling and properly ejects them, then they've done a successful job
Only Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley can radiate the Red Carpet
According to her September 29 Instagram Carousel, Eliza called her time at the festival "truly inspiring." And her chosen Red Carpet look is just as inspiring! She wore a burgundy plaid long-sleeved sheer dress with a high neck and an ankle-length skirt. She then accessorized it with a black chain-handled handbag for a punk rocker vibe and classic black booties.
The dress itself is from the label AFRM and the shade enhance Eliza's beauty and inner aura. As for Bob, he dappers in a gray suit complete with tie.
Ah! But wait! Before she even slipped into the burgundy piece, she wore a salmon-pink striped strapless dress adorned with vertical stripes and over-sized puffy sleeves. Then there's Bob in black velvet that's very edgy, but elegant.
Status: Active was also featured at the 6th Annual All The Laughs Comedy Festival in Atlanta, held during the same weekend as Catalina. The film was then awarded the Golden Pitcher for "Best Dark Comedy."
Let's hope that this isn't the end for the duo's Red Carpet appearances, whether it be for Status: Active, or for another project (praying) where either on, or both, will be a significant part. As charismatic and talented as Bob and Eliza are, it should be a no-brainer for the studios.
