The top 10 Kardashian Halloween costumes over the years

The Kardashians had some pretty fabulous Halloween costumes. Since they became household names in 2007 when E! premiered their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, we were delightfully treated to several of their spooky holiday get-ups and glam. The costumes weren't any different than the fashions from the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas parties regarding their prep to put every piece together. The results were showstopping, but to the family, it was just another day in their lives.

Halloween is a fun holiday and my favorite because there's so much behind it. From its early roots in Ireland to honor the departed to the candy-filled bags of childhood trick-or-treating and the creative costumes that can be put together with items from your own wardrobe, or you can DIY the accessories, Halloween has it all. Kourtney reused a dress of Kim's last year for her Halloween festivities, exemplifying the "DIY" method.

As we haunt into Halloween 2024 and wait for this year's unveiling, we're looking back at ten iconic Halloween costumes the Kardashian sisters wore over the years.

10 Halloween costumes that the Kardashians worn

Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé all love dressing up for Halloween. Kourtney is referred to as the "Queen of Halloween" because she adores the day and even built a "brand" surrounding it.

Kim as Wonder Woman in 2008

One Halloween party night, Kim was out saving the world as Diana Prince, whose alter ego is Wonder Woman. We think she knocked it out of the park in her red, gold, and blue outfit, wrist cuffs, and crown. For glam, Kim poofed up her natural dark hair with loose waves, and kept her makeup simple with a glossy nude lip and red nails.

Khloé Kardashian as a cop in 2008

A year after her DUI arrest and very short prison time, Khloé attended the Pur Jeans Halloween Bash as a policewoman. She took on a more outlaw cohesiveness to her costume with thigh-high boots and a mini uniform. It was evident that Khloé was making light of her brief run-in with the law, but she also took her lesson to heart.

In a 2007 appearance on The Tyra Banks Show, Khloé reflected on her community service assignment and regretted her actions behind the wheel.

"I have to go to the hospital and see injured people who were either a drunk driver themselves or were hurt by someone [who was drunk driving]. Thankfully, [no one was] killed. What I could have done is just unthinkable. I will never, ever do that again."

At the same Halloween party, Kim dressed as a 1920s Flapper, complete with pearls and feathered hair ornament.

The reality star went for a sexy version of the heroine from the Brothers Grimm fairytale with a corseted bodice and black bow embellished skirt. Kim was in the very early days of her pregnancy with North West, which she later announced.

From Kim's 32nd birthday celebration in Vegas, Kourtney attended as Batgirl from DC's Batman. The all-spandex suit hugged her curves and she paired it with the iconic mask, giving it an anonymous vibe.

Kim went all out with the blue with cat-green eyes for her version of Mystique. To make the costume even more authentic, she wore a red, slicked back wig.

Khloé, True and Tatum Thompson as the Octonauts in 2023

Khloé made Halloween fun for her two children, True and Tatum, by dressing up as the adorable animal characters from the UK children's series Octonauts. How precious is Tatum as the sweet little penguin and True as a mint green bunny?

Nothing is more Y2K-esque than the Bratz dolls, and Kim, Khloé, Natalie Halcro, and Olivia Pierson became living, breathing versions. As you can see from Kim's IG, Kim was dressed as Jade while Khloé channeled Yasmin (we think).

As if! Kim and her daughter North West went as the fashion BFFs Cher and Dionne from the 1995 cult hit Clueless. The outfits are not from the Spirit of Halloween store but are customized pieces from the Italian fashion house Dolce and Gabbana.

The King and Queen of Halloween dressed as the undead couple Beetlejuice and his wife Lydia Deetz from Tim Burton's horror masterpiece, Beetlejuice. Kourtney donned a scarlet red wedding gown with Swiss-dot details. Travis harmonized with Kourtney in his burgundy tux and green hair.

Who said you can't repurpose old clothes for a whole new look? That's exactly what Kourtney did with Kim's 2013 Met Gala floral gown for one of her 2023 Halloween looks. She was pregnant with Rocky and needed something to work with.
